We’re adding names of everyone who contributes to this frame to hang in Katie Ruth’s nursery! We would love to add YOU!

Help us bring home Katie Ruth!
Will you partner with us? Since this will be a private adoption, the fees are extremely high. We’re looking at dollar numbers that, honestly, are scary. But we know Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider, has promised us this baby, and He will provide everything we need. We would be honored for you to join us in bringing home our sweet girl.
Our promise to you: We will pray for you! Seriously. Our church’s annual 21 Days of Prayer has been an integral part of Katie Ruth’s story since January 2011. For every 21 Days in the future, we will intentionally pray for every family who contributes to our adoption. Katie Ruth will grow up knowing the names of everyone who helped bring her home. We started in January 2020 and loved this addition to our family prayer time. May we add your family to our prayer tree?
Our first glimpse of God’s provision: On December 29, 2019, we set a goal of raising $2020 by 2020. A few hours before midnight, our faith was wavering. We kept on praying, and God surpassed our expectations! By the end of January 1, He had provided more the $4,000! Those funds helped cover costs for our home study, agency applications, and other initial fees. Most importantly, our faith was strengthened, and we’re confident He will provide the $40,000 or so we will eventually need.

Additional Ways to Contribute
Aimee has written several books, and proceeds from those sales will benefit our financial adoption needs. Her paperback book, The Restful Homeschool Resolution: 21 Days to Transform Your Homeschool is a 21-day prayer journey for homeschool moms. The book is dedicated to Gammi, Aimee’s mom, and to Katie Ruth. Adding the dedication to Katie Ruth was a huge step of faith for us!
Not just for homeschool moms! Aimee has also written several downloadable pdf books. They are bite-sized, reflectiion-filled devotions to help busy moms cultivate rest by seeking Jesus.

Our Story of God’s Promise
“The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise” II Peter 3:9
October 2010 – Our adoption story began at ReCreate 2010, our church’s women’s conference, when Aimee was grieving our loss of fertility after a life-saving hysterectomy following Caleb’s birth. In the midst of her grief, God promised her we have another daughter.
January 2019 – God chose to wait more than eight years to give Aron the same call to adopt. Over the years, Aimee had prayed he would take the lead if this was truly God’s call for us. He certainly has taken the lead.
October 2020 – We’re still waiting! It has been a full decade, but we’re believing God is not slow in keeping His promises.
The story has only begun! We’re on the brink of seeing God’s promise fulfilled. After ten years, this story is just getting started. Join us on Instagram to keep up with our unfolding story of God’s faithfulness.
