My session:
Pursuing Excellence in Your Homeschool Without Sacrificing Relationship – As families begin homeschooling, important tasks of choosing curriculum, planning lessons, and scheduling routines are essential. Homeschool parents’ desire for excellence in their family’s education is good. However, there is a hidden danger of allowing these tasks to overshadow maintaining healthy relationships. This session will include 5 strategies to foster strong family relationships while providing an excellent education.
Registration opens April 1. Conference runs April 6-10 with a highly engaged community group and digital swag bag filled with freebies and coupons!

My sessions include:
In Pursuit of Restful Homeschooling – Restful homeschooling is birthed in the heart in a restful homeschool momma. Moms seek rest in many ways, yet often discover they’re filling a leaking cup. This session will discuss 3 types of rest moms need, practical steps to pursue each type, and one over-arching principle to pursue a restful heart. When momma’s heart is restful, her entire family will enjoy a restful homeschool.
3 Strategies to Productively Homeschool with Chronic Illness – Homeschool moms with chronic illness are all too aware of their obstacles and frustrations when simply getting dressed can be a challenge. Despite the struggles, these moms can successfully homeschool. School, however, might need to look a bit different than their original expectations. This session will explore 3 practical strategies to help keep school going well even when mom is not well.
Maintaining Sanity while Homeschooling with Littles – “I can’t even go to the bathroom by myself!” This might be the season of life they’ve dreamed of for years, but the constant pull for their attention can push moms of little ones to the edge of the sanity cliff. Thankfully, moms can reclaim their sanity by incorporating 3 refreshing principles into their thought life and 3 practical strategies into their home life. They can not only maintain sanity but reclaim a sense of joy while homeschooling with little ones.
I’ll be speaking IN PERSON at Teach Them Diligently this year. (If the in-person events must be cancelled, I’ll be joining the online events.) Join me in Mobile, AL (May 7-9) or Athens, GA (June 11-13).
Conference runs April 6-8, 2020, then you’ll have lifetime access. This conference is not homeschool specific. Rather, it is a gathering of women telling personal stories of how our FAITH kept us GROUNDED through difficult circumstances. • 20+ speakers• 10 hours worth of sessions • worship music videos • downloadable faith prints• forever access

My session:
Waiting Well: A Ten Year Adoption Journey – Yes, it’s exactly what it says. Here’s the short version: November 2009, God saved me from near-fatal complications in delivering our baby Caleb. October 2010, God promised me we still have another daughter. My husband, however, did not have the same calling. January 2019, day #21 of our annual 21 days of prayer, everything changed.
